Mr Wang Zijie, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of 9you is a well-known figure among Asia’s interactive entertainment technology industry experts and entrepreneurs.

Mr Wang is the founder and president of Shanghai Everstar Digital Entertainment Co. Ltd. The company setup in 2001 quickly became one of the top digital entertainment company in China. He subsequently went on to create China’s first interactive entertainment portal - 9you （www.9you.com） in 2003 acting as the Board’s Chairman and company’s CEO till date. 9you has since developed many online games such as “Super Dancer Online”, “Burst A Fever Online” and Crazy Speed”. “Super Dancer Online” was successfully exported and sold in many overseas countries making its mark in the history of China’s entertainment software industry.

　Led by Mr Wang, 9you rose to become one of the top revenue earning company in 2008. She is also the top game operator for China’s casual game market with over 380 million subscribers at the end of Feb ’09. The average concurrent number of players online at the same time is over 1 million!

He was also awarded 2006-2008 “China Online Game Top Entrepreneur” by China Software Association. The company has received multiple international awards such as ISO9001 and ISO10002.

Mr Wang graduated from Shanghai Fudan University and subsequently received his Masters degree in Doshisha University (Japan).
